# Getting Started with Connectors

> Connect the tools your team already uses (Notion, Linear, and more) so Ask Reevo can work with them during conversations, with your approval on every change.

Connectors let [Ask Reevo](/AI-and-productivity/AskReevo-Copilot) work with the other tools your team uses, right from a conversation. Ask about a support ticket, a product metric, a Notion doc, or a Slack thread, and Ask Reevo pulls the answer from the connected tool. Ask it to create or update something there, and it acts only after you approve.

  **Looking for the Reevo MCP server?** That works in the opposite direction: it lets an external AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, reach into your Reevo workspace. See [Getting Started with Reevo MCP](/AI-and-productivity/Reevo-MCP). This page covers connectors, which let Ask Reevo, inside Reevo, reach out to your other tools.

## Available connectors

Each connector has its own article covering setup, capabilities, permissions, and FAQs:

| Connector | What Ask Reevo can do with it |

## How connectors work

The same model applies to every connector:

* **Admins enable, users connect.** An organization admin enables each connector for the whole organization; every person then connects their own account.
* **Connections are personal.** Ask Reevo acts as your user in the connected tool and can only see what your own account can see. Two teammates can connect different accounts, and one person's connection never gives anyone else access.
* **Sign-in is OAuth only.** You authorize on the provider's own consent screen; no API keys are created or pasted.
* **Reads run automatically; changes need your approval.** Anything that creates, updates, or posts in a connected tool shows an approval card in the chat first. (PostHog is read-only by design, so it never needs to ask.)
* **No background syncing.** Ask Reevo requests data from a connected tool only in the moment it needs it to answer you.

  **Availability.** MCP connectors are rolling out gradually to help us maintain the best possible experience for you. If you don't see **MCP connectors** under Settings, your organization may not have access yet; contact your Reevo representative or email [support@reevo.ai](mailto:support@reevo.ai).

## Set up your first connector

1. **Enable (admins):** open the [**Organization** tab](https://app.reevo.ai/settings/mcp?tab=organization) of **Settings → Ask Reevo → MCP connectors** and turn on the connectors you want to allow.
2. **Connect (everyone):** open the [**User** tab](https://app.reevo.ai/settings/mcp), click **Connect** on a connector card, and complete the provider's sign-in. The card shows a **Connected** badge when you're done.
3. **Use it:** mention the tool (or the content that lives there) in any Ask Reevo conversation. For example: "Pull the open Pylon tickets for Acme Corp", "What did the team say about the Globex renewal in Slack?", or "File a Linear ticket for the bug from today's call."

<Tip>
  **Connectors combine.** One question can span several tools: ask Ask Reevo to check a customer's open support tickets in Pylon, find the related bug in Linear, and draft a Slack update, all in one conversation.

## Troubleshooting and FAQs

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How are connectors different from the Reevo MCP server?">
    Connectors let Ask Reevo, inside the Reevo app, reach out to your other tools. The Reevo MCP server is the reverse: it lets an external AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, work with your Reevo data. See Getting Started with Reevo MCP for that setup.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Who can enable connectors?">
    Only organization admins can enable or disable a connector for the organization, from the Organization tab of the MCP connectors page. Once enabled, any user can connect their own account.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does a teammate's connection give me access?">
    No. Connections are personal: each person connects their own account, and Ask Reevo only ever uses your connection in your conversations.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Will Ask Reevo change things in my tools without asking?">
    No. Any action that creates, updates, or posts in a connected tool shows an approval card in the chat first, and Ask Reevo proceeds only after you approve. Reads run automatically.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I don't see MCP connectors in my Settings.">
    MCP connectors are rolling out gradually and may not be enabled for your organization yet. Contact your Reevo representative or email [support@reevo.ai](mailto:support@reevo.ai).
