Recording Compliance & Participant Notification

Reevo’s meeting bots can record and transcribe calls so you can easily review, search, and share key takeaways. Because recording laws vary by region, it’s important that everyone on the call knows when recording is happening and provides their consent for call recording where required.

How Recording Notifications Work

When a Reevo bot joins a call, participants will see a recording notice in the meeting platform (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.). If someone doesn’t want to be recorded, they can choose to:
  • Remove the recording bot from the meeting, or
  • Leave the meeting

Your Responsibility as Host

Hosts are responsible for:
  • Making sure participants are aware the call is being recorded
  • Obtaining consent from call participants for call recording where required
  • Complying with privacy laws
  • Including a short disclaimer in invites or meetings that calls will be recorded if needed

Requesting Deletion of a Recording or Transcript

If you were part of a meeting recorded by Reevo and want it deleted, please contact the meeting host.
