Pipeline stage criteria
How stage criteria works in Reevo
Overview
Stage criteria in Reevo are specific conditions that must be met before an opportunity can advance to the next sales stage. They reinforce consistent sales practices and ensure critical information is captured and verified.
Basic concepts & terminology
Stage criteria in Reevo define the conditions required to move an opportunity forward in the pipeline. There are two main types:
-
Custom Criteria
These are created by admins using flexible, predicate-based logic. For example:
Opportunity Amount > $5,000
-
Library Criteria
These are pre-built criteria based on the MEDDPICC sales framework and fall into two categories:
- Sales Action-Based Criteria: Require tagging specific sales activities (e.g. “First Meeting”, “Demo”).
- Information-Based Criteria: Require completion of specific MEDDPICC fields (e.g. identifying the economic buyer or setting a decision timeline).
Where to find it
- Go to your Settings page and select opportunities
- Go to the Pipeline configuration
- Select the pipeline and stage you want to edit.

- Pick one or more items.
- Assign it to the stage. (No predicate configurations are required—the logic is built in.)
Tag meetings or emails to satisfy sales action-based criteria
- When viewing a meeting or email, select the Activity Intent (e.g. “Demo”, “Pricing Discussion”)
- Alternatively, open an existing activity and set the intent
- ReevoAI will also suggest intents based on content—click Accept to apply
FAQs
Where can I view the stage criteria for an opportunity?
You can see the stage criteria checklist in the overview tab in the opportunity detail page. A progress bar shows the percentage of completed criteria for the current stage. Each criteria item appears with one of three statuses:
- ✅ Completed
- ⚠️ Completed but Unverified
- ❌ Not Completed
Click an item to view details or recommendations.
What do the criteria statuses mean?
- Completed - All data verified
- Completed but unverified - User-entered data doesn’t match meeting/email content; ReevoAI flagged a discrepancy
- Not completed - Criteria still missing data or activity
How does ReevoAI verify information-based criteria?
ReevoAI scans meeting notes and email threads for relevant data. If matching information is found, the criteria is marked Completed. If the entered data conflicts with conversation data, it becomes Completed but Unverified.
When can I move an opportunity to the next stage?
All criteria must be Completed or Completed but Unverified. If any item is Not Completed, progression is blocked. If there are “Completed but Unverified” items, you may progress but must provide a reason for the override.
Can I override an unverified criteria item?
Yes. Provide a reason for the discrepancy when prompted. The reason is logged for audit purposes.
Can I override stage criteria and skip head?
Yes for Admin users. As an admin you have the ability to select another stage to jump to bypassing the requirements. You will need to input a reason for the override.
Where can I find recommendations for criteria completion?
Suggestions appear in each criteria’s detail view when ReevoAI detects relevant information in meetings or emails. Click Accept to populate the data automatically. Alternatively, you can find the Reevo recommendations through the application
