Overview

This feature makes it easy to add the Reevo Bot to any meeting, even when your meeting is scheduled on Google Calendar but not synced with Reevo due to meeting settings.

  • Meeting Bot - a bot that will join you video calls (Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams) to record your meeting.

Where to find it

  • Go to Settings > Meetings in Reevo.

How it works

Each organization has a unique Reevo Bot email address, visible in your Reevo Settings > Meetings page. You can invite the Reevo Bot in two ways:

1. If You Have Edit Permissions (You Can Edit the Google Calendar Event):

  • Google Calendar has this Meeting Invite Image(6) Pn
  • Reevo doesn’t have the meeting (due to Sync settings) Image(7) Pn
  • Open your Google Calendar event.
  • Click on “Add guests” and enter your organization’s Reevo Bot email address. Image(8) Pn
  • Make sure to Save, Send and Invite all guests

  • Reevo will generate a record for the meeting—regardless of previous sync status—and then add the bot to the meeting. Image(11) Pn

2. If You Do NOT Have Edit Permissions (You Can’t Edit the Event):

  • Open the meeting invitation email in your inbox.
  • Forward the invite to your organization’s Reevo Bot email address. Image(12) Pn
  • That’s it! The Reevo Bot will be added to the meeting, and a record will be created in Reevo. Image(13) Pn
This method is perfect when you are just a participant and can’t edit the meeting directly.

FAQs

Q: Can I use this with Outlook or other calendar systems? A: No. At this time, Invite Bot by Email supports only Google Calendar. Q: What if I forward a recurring meeting? A: No, recurring meetings are not supported right now. Please send invites for single (one-time) meetings only. Q: What if I use the wrong bot email? A: Only your organization’s specific Reevo Bot email will work. If you use the wrong email, the invite will be ignored and the bot will not be added. Please double-check the address in your Reevo Settings to ensure it is correct.
