When is the Research Agent workflow triggered?

The workflow is automatically triggered whenever a new contact or company is created within your organization.

How soon will research content be available?

Research content typically becomes available within 10–15 minutes, depending on the availability of public data for the contact or company.

What identifiers does the Research Agent use?

  • Company Research: Uses the company’s website as the primary identifier.
  • Contact Research: Prioritizes the LinkedIn profile URL. If unavailable, it uses the contact’s primary business email address.

What happens when company or contact data is updated?

  • Company: Updating the website triggers a new workflow to refresh company information.
  • Contact: Updating the LinkedIn URL initiates a new workflow to retrieve updated contact data.

What happens to the original data I entered or imported?

  • Company Data: Fields like description, employee count, annual revenue, and industries will be filled by the research agent only if they are empty or outdated.
  • Contact Data: Fields such as job title and LinkedIn URL will be updated if empty or if newer data is available. Contact names will only be replaced if no name was originally entered.

How frequently is research data refreshed?

Data is refreshed monthly by default. Time-sensitive fields, such as company news, are also updated dynamically whenever a meeting is scheduled with that company or contact.

What should I do if the research data is incorrect?

  • Company: Check that the correct website domain is listed. Updating it will re-trigger the research workflow.
  • Contact: Verify the LinkedIn URL. If incorrect, update or remove it to prevent displaying mismatched information.
