Overview

Reevo’s export feature allows you to download data from your list views into CSV files for analysis, reporting, or migration purposes. You can export data from Contacts, Accounts, Pipelines, and Custom Objects, and include fields from related objects to create comprehensive data sets. Any changes made to records after the export starts will not be reflected in the downloaded file. When exporting relationship fields, Reevo automatically includes both the ID and display name for related records to ensure data integrity and make the export more useful for analysis or re-import scenarios. Key capabilities:
  • Include fields from the current object and related objects
  • Apply filters and sorting to export specific data subsets
  • Track all exports in one central location
  • Download completed exports at any time
Why this matters: Exporting data enables you to analyze trends in external tools, share data with stakeholders, create backups, or migrate information between systems. Cross-object fields let you include related data (like an Account’s website on a Contact export) without manual lookups.
Important limitations:
  • Exports are limited to 5,000 records maximum
  • Only one-to-one relationship fields are included in exports
  • One-to-many and many-to-one relationship fields will be excluded

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to Your List View

Go to the list view of the object you want to export (Contacts, Accounts, Pipelines, or a Custom Object).

Step 2: Customize Your View

Before exporting, set up your view with the data you want to include:
  • Select fields to include:
    • Click the Fields button (with columns icon) in the toolbar
    • Choose which fields to display in your table
    • To add cross-object fields, navigate through the field picker to select fields from related objects
    • Drag fields to reorder them (the export will match this order)
    • Click outside the picker to save
  • Apply filters (optional)
    • Use filters to narrow down which records to export
    • The export will only include records that match your current filters
  • Apply sorting (optional):
    • Sort your list view to control the order of records in the export
    • The export will maintain this sorting order

Step 3: Start the Export

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top right of the list view
  2. Select Export view from the dropdown

Step 4: Review and Confirm

A confirmation dialog will appear with important information: If you have more than 5,000 records:
“Your current view has more than 5,000 records. This export is limited to a maximum of 5,000 records. Please use filters to narrow down your data set if you need specific records.”
If you included one-to-many or many-to-one relationship fields:
“Exports only support one-to-one relationship fields. Any one-to-many or many-to-one relationship fields from the view will be ignored.”
If you have no records:
“Your current view has no records. Please adjust your filters to include records before exporting.”
Click Export to proceed, or Cancel to adjust your view.

Step 5: Wait for Processing

After confirming, you’ll see a notification showing export progress:
“Exporting [Object Name]…”
The export runs in the background, so you can continue working in Reevo while it processes.

Step 6: Download Your Export

When the export completes, you’ll receive a notification:
“Export completed! Click to download.”
Click Download in the notification, or visit Settings > Exports to download it later.

Step 7: Access Past Exports

All your exports are saved in Settings > Exports. From this page you can:
  • View the status of all export jobs (Processing, Completed, or Failed)
  • Download completed exports
  • See when each export was created and completed

Troubleshooting / FAQs

Cross-object fields (also called relationship fields) are fields that pull data from related records. For example, if you’re exporting Contacts, you might want to include the Account Name or Account Website from each Contact’s associated Account. These appear in the Fields picker when you navigate into relationship sections.
Reevo only exports one-to-one relationship fields. If a field represents a one-to-many or many-to-one relationship, it will not be included in the export. You’ll see a warning in the confirmation dialog if any of your selected fields will be excluded.
No, each export is limited to 5,000 records. If you need to export more data, use filters to create multiple exports covering different subsets of your data (for example, export by date range or region).
