Connecting Ask Reevo to Slack

Reevo offers two Slack integrations to help your team stay connected and productive. The workspace integration installs the Reevo bot for team-wide notifications and alerts, while the personal integration enables individual notifications and direct access to Ask Reevo in Slack. Both integrations keep your sales team informed without switching between applications. To use Ask Reevo in Slack, you need to connect both workspace and personal integrations:
  1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations
  2. Under Workspace Integrations, connect the Reevo Bot for Slack (requires admin permissions)
  3. Once the workspace is connected, you’ll see a Communication section appear
  4. Under Communication, click Connect next to the Slack personal integration
  5. Follow the authorization flow to link your personal Slack account to integrate the Reevo App.
Once connected, you can chat with Ask Reevo directly in Slack and receive personal notifications about tasks and meetings. You can configure organization-wide Slack notifications in the notifications settings page

Access Ask Reevo in Slack

  1. Open Slack and navigate to your workspace where Reevo is installed.
  2. Install the Reevo Bot in Slack
  3. Invite the Bot:
    • Type ‘/invite @Reevo’ in channels where you want to use it
  4. Find the Reevo bot in your direct messages or channels where it has been added.
  5. Start a conversation by mentioning @Reevo and typing your question or request directly in the message field. =Regular team chat continues normally - bot only responds to @mentions

  • @mentions: Any message with @Reevo in channels or direct messages
  • Thread replies: Follow-up questions in existing bot conversations
  • Direct Messages: Any message sent directly to the @Reevo bot

Ask Questions About Your Data

  1. Type your question in natural language (e.g., “What meetings do I have this week?” or “Show me tasks for Acme Corp”).
  2. Review the response which may include formatted data, insights, and clickable links back to Reevo.
  3. Click any links in the response to jump directly to the relevant record in Reevo.
  4. Ask follow-up questions in the same thread to dive deeper into specific topics.

Get Meeting and Call Insights

  1. Ask about specific meetings (e.g., “Summarize my last call with John Smith”).
  2. Review quoted transcript excerpts that Ask Reevo provides with clickable timestamps.
  3. Click the meeting link to view the full recording and transcript in Reevo.
  4. Request action items by asking “What are the next steps from this meeting?”

Search Your CRM Data

  1. Query contacts or accounts (e.g., “Find all contacts at Acme Corp”).
  2. Ask about deal status (e.g., “What’s the health of my Q4 pipeline?”).
  3. Request task summaries (e.g., “What tasks are due this week?”).
  4. Get recommendations by asking “Who should I follow up with today?”

Provide Feedback

  1. Review the response Ask Reevo provides.
  2. Click the thumbs down icon if the response is unhelpful or incorrect.
  3. Add context about what was wrong to help improve future responses.

Troubleshooting / FAQs

The workspace integration must be connected before individual users can connect their personal Slack accounts. If you don’t see the personal Slack integration option, verify that your workspace admin has connected the Reevo Bot for Slack first.
Verify the Reevo bot is installed in your workspace and you have the necessary permissions. Contact your Slack admin or Reevo representative if the bot is not visible.
Check that you have permission to view the data in Reevo. Try rephrasing your question with more specific details like contact names, company names, or date ranges.
Ask Reevo can occasionally make mistakes. Use the thumbs down icon to flag the response, then verify the information directly in Reevo. You can also ask follow-up questions to clarify.
Navigate to Settings > Integrations, find the Reevo Bot for Slack card, click the three-dot menu next to the “Connected” badge, select Disconnect, and confirm the action in the dialog that appears.
Type “What can you do?” in your conversation with Ask Reevo to see its current capabilities. Features are regularly added, so check back periodically for updates.
